VILLANOVA, Pa. (AP) — They were scaling a light pole and setting bonfires. Police in suburban Philadelphia say the celebration following Villanova's 77-74 NCAA victory over North Carolina last night got a little out of hand. Six people were arrested and 25 were injured in the celebration. After Villanova's Kris Jenkins sealed the deal with a 3-pointer in the final seconds of the game in Houston, students rushed from Villanova's arena onto a nearby commercial strip of pubs and restaurants. Today, the university is giving students a break from classes.
MILWAUKEE (AP) — It's primary day in Wisconsin for Republicans and Democrats. Republican Ted Cruz heads into today's contest with the backing of much of the state's GOP leaders, but overall front-runner Donald Trump has been making a spirited final push, and he predicts a "really, really big victory." For the Democrats, Bernie Sanders would need to win 67 percent of the remaining delegates and uncommitted superdelegates to catch up to Hillary Clinton. So far, he's only winning 37 percent.
UNDATED (AP) — A published report says that if elected president, front-runner Donald Trump plans to force Mexico to pay for a border wall by cutting off billions of dollars in remittances by immigrants living in the U.S. Today's Washington Post cites a two-page memo sent by Trump, outlining how he would force Mexico to pay for the 1,000-mile wall. In his proposal, Trump is reportedly threatening to change a rule under the Patriot Act anti-terrorism law to cut off money transfers sent to Mexico.
NEW YORK (AP) — Subway says it's moving ahead and posting calorie counts on its menu boards nationally despite another delay in a federal rule requiring the information. The sandwich chain says its new menu boards with calorie counts are already rolling out around the country and should be up in all 27,000 of its U.S. stores by next Monday. The Food and Drug Administration is not yet enforcing a rule to require calorie count information posted by food sellers with 20 or more locations.
BANGKOK (AP) — McDonald's in Thailand is apologizing to customers after a video surfaced online showing a large rat scurrying around a dessert counter at one of its restaurants. McDonald's says in a statement that a rat had rummaged through its restaurant in a shopping mall in southern Thailand, and it blames the incident on local sewers.
