COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — U.S. coach Jurgen (YUR'-gihn) Klinsmann has inserted five new starters into his lineup for Tuesday night's World Cup qualifier against Guatemala following a 2-0 loss last week on the Central Americans' home turf. Defender Steve Birnbaum, midfielders Kyle Beckerman and Graham Zusi, and forward Gyasi Zardes were inserted into the lineup along with goalkeeper Brad Guzan for tonight's must-win game if the Americans are to qualify for the 2018 World Cup.

AUBURN HILLS, Mich. (AP) — The Oklahoma City Thunder are resting star Kevin Durant and starting forward Serge Ibaka (ih-BAH'-kah) for tonight's game against the Detroit Pistons. Coach Billy Donovan says the Thunder thought this was a good chance to rest the two players after Oklahoma City won at Toronto the previous night.

NEW YORK (AP) — The long-running television dispute between Baltimore Orioles and Washington Nationals is heading to mediation on April 12-13. At issue is how much money the Mid-Atlantic Sports Network, which is controlled by the Orioles, owes the Nationals for the team's 2012-16 television rights. A New York State Supreme Court Justice threw out a $298 million dollar award to the Nationals through arbitration.

METAIRIE, La. (AP) — The New Orleans Pelicans say guard Jrue (ZROO) Holiday and forward Alonzo Gee will miss the rest of this season because of injuries, making it six members of the team to be shut down for the season. Both Holiday and Gee were injured in Monday night's victory over the New York Knicks. Holiday has a fractured orbital eyewall and Gee a ruptured thigh muscle.

UNDATED (AP) — Florida can break its tie with Tampa Bay in the NHL's Atlantic Division tonight. Each club has 93 points on the season and, while Florida is home to Toronto, the Lightning have the night off. Boston starts play five points off the lead and the Bruins are at New Jersey tonight.
