SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- Jeff Cunningham scored twice on a penalty kicks to give Real Salt Lake a two-to-one win over D-C United tonight. The goals came in the game's final minutes. With the win, Real Salt Lake ends its two-game winless streak and snapped United's 14-game unbeaten stretch. It was the first loss for D.C. United since May Sixth at Colorado.
Cunningham's first penalty kick came in the 90th minute after D-C United's John Wilson took down Mehdi Ballouchy in the penalty box. Salt Lake was given another penalty kick when Wilson was called for another foul, this time against Chris Klein, three minute into stoppage time.
