BRUSSELS (AP) — There's more evidence of a link between the bombings in Brussels this week and the attacks last November in Paris. Prosecutors say a suicide bomber who struck in the Brussels subway station had rented a house that was used as a hideout for the Paris attackers. Also today, a lawyer for the chief suspect in the Paris attacks says his client isn't fighting extradition from Belgium to France. But the lawyer wants a one-month delay while he studies documents in the case. Salah Abdeslam was captured last week in Brussels.

BUENOS AIRES, Argentina (AP) — Before heading back to Washington later today, President Barack Obama has been spending time with his wife and daughters in southern Argentina. They traveled from Buenos Aires today to a Patagonia, a sparsely-populated region at the southern tip of South America. Earlier today, in the Argentine capital, Obama said the United States hadn't been quick to defend human rights in Argentina during the military rule that followed a 1976 coup. He says his administration is making public more documents that could shed more light on the U.S. role in what's known as Argentina's "Dirty War."

OXFORD, Miss. (AP) — A former University of Mississippi student is pleading guilty to placing a noose on the statue of the school's first black student. Austin Edenfield waived indictment today and pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge before a federal judge in Oxford. The charge said Edenfield helped others threaten force to intimidate African-American students and university employees. He faces up to a year in prison and a $100,000 fine when he is sentenced in July, but the government is recommending probation.

TARRYTOWN, N.Y. (AP) — The body of a third crewman who died after their tugboat collided with a barge and sank in the Hudson River north of New York City has been recovered from the wreckage. Authorities entered the 90-foot vessel shortly after it was lifted and suspended at the water's surface by a massive crane this morning. The bodies of the two other men were recovered in the days following the incident nearly two weeks ago.

HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) — A Tennessee man has agreed to plead guilty to charges he stole money from the charity he created to benefit the people of Newtown, Connecticut, following the December 2012 massacre at the Sandy Hook Elementary School. Robert Bruce is scheduled to appear in federal court in Hartford, Connecticut, in May for a change of plea hearing. A co-founder of the charity said she notified authorities when Bruce could not account for about $73,000 of the $103,000 raised by the charity.
