SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Police in Salt Lake City are searching for a suspect in a pair of carjackings that left a trail of damage.
KUTV reports (http://bit.ly/1R7ogdJ) that the incident began Friday afternoon when a man allegedly crashed into several parked cars and a utility pole in South Salt Lake.
Police spokesman Cody Lougy said the suspect then carjacked another vehicle when his was disabled.
The man then crashed into more cars minutes later.
He allegedly carjacked a second vehicle and fled.
Lougy says the suspect then crashed a third time near 3300 South and 500 West.
Lougy says a dozen vehicles were damaged in less than 10 minutes.
The suspect has yet to be found.
He is described as black and was last seen in a blue van.
