Sedums are succulent plants with fleshy leaves. They are used as groundcovers or as showy perennials. They are soft and easily crushed and will not tolerate traffic but are otherwise low water, low maintenance plants. They are good choices for areas where you are trying to use less water. Most do well in full sun although some will tolerate moderate shade. The following sedums grow well under Utah conditions.
