COLLEGE PARK, Md. (AP) — Former Vice President Al Gore is scheduled to talk about climate change in a speech at the University of Maryland, College Park.
Gore will be on the campus on Tuesday to take part in a conversation titled: "The Future of Climate Action."
The campus also will be formally announcing The Center for Global Sustainability at the University of Maryland. It will be housed in the School of Public Policy.
The university says the center is well-positioned to be a leader on climate change policy.
