KOENIGSSEE, Germany (AP) — Maximilian Arndt of Germany clinched his second four-man bobsled overall World Cup title by winning the final race of the season on Sunday.
Arndt edged an Austrian crew with pilot Benjamin Maier by .13 seconds over the two runs. Another German, Francesco Friedrich, was third, .24 seconds off the pace.
With his third win in eight races this season, Arndt secured the overall title with 1,715 points. Friedrich was second with 1,570 points and Rico Peter of Switzerland finished third at 1,512.
