WASHINGTON (AP) — Donald Trump has won the Republican presidential caucuses in Nevada, giving the billionaire businessman three straight wins in the race for the GOP nomination. The race for the Republican nomination now moves on to next week's Super Tuesday, when a dozen states will hold presidential primaries.
RENO, Nev. (AP) — An overflow shelter in the Reno area has been closed after apparent copper theft. KTVN-TV reports that volunteers discovered the missing copper after the building began flooding. Officials said the building does not have water or power for the 120 people who were staying there. The shelter says it is doing everything possible to find a new location.
LAS VEGAS (AP) — An ex-convict is due to face a judge today following his arrest in a car-to-car shooting that killed two women and critically wounded a man just off the Las Vegas Strip. Omar Jamal Talley is charged with felony murder, attempted murder and firing a weapon charges. Jennifer Chicas and Melissa Mendoza were killed and Jerraud Jackson underwent surgery for his wound.
LAS VEGAS (AP) — Singer Celine Dion is returning to the stage on the Las Vegas Strip, a month after the death of her husband and manager. Dion had canceled January dates for her "Celine" show performances at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace following the death of Rene Angelil on Jan. 14 at age 73.
