Johansson promotes Reebok athletic wear

CANTON, Mass., Jul 26, 2006 (UPI via COMTEX) -- "Match Point" star Scarlett Johansson has contracted to co-design and model a new high-end line of athletic footwear and attire for Reebok in Canton, Mass.

"Scarlett embodies the pulse points of our brand -- individuality, authenticity and a life lived to the fullest in perpetual motion," Reebok President and Chief Executive Officer Paul Harrington said in a statement.

Johansson, 21, said the company's history in creating cutting-edge women's clothing made Reebok a perfect partner to launch Scarlett "Hearts" Rbk, e!online reported.

The new line will come out in spring 2007, supported by a global ad campaign featuring the "Match Point" femme fatale.

Johansson is also a spokeswoman and model for L'Oreal Paris, Calvin Klein and Louis Vuitton.
