RENO, Nev. (AP) — Nevada will play non-conference football games at Notre Dame and Purdue next season while UNLV travels to UCLA and Central Michigan.
The Mountain West Conference released a partial schedule for the 2017 season on Thursday with the Rebels opening non-conference play at home against Jackson State on Sept. 1 and the Wolf Pack hosting Cal Poly on Sept. 3.
Nevada plays at Notre Dame on Sept. 10 and hosts Buffalo on Sept. 17 before traveling to Purdue, Sept. 24.
The Rebels play at UCLA on Sept. 10, at Central Michigan Sept. 17 then host Idaho, Sept. 24.
Nevada travels to Las Vegas for next fall's annual rivalry game, but the date hasn't been set. For the second year in a row, the Wolf Pack will not play Boise State during the regular season.
