CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (AP) — Josh Robinson scored 30 points as Austin Peay beat Southeast Missouri State 86-80 on Saturday.

Robinson was 7 of 12 from distance and 9 of 16 from the field overall for the Governors (10-14, 3-6 Ohio Valley Conference). Khalil Davis added 18 points, Chris Horton had 15 points and Kenny Jones chipped in 12.

Robinson sank four 3-pointers in the first half, the last one capping a late 10-2 surge that took the Governors from a four-point deficit with 4:28 to go in the period to a 34-30 edge at the break.

The Governors opened the second half with a 13-7 run to extend their lead to 47-37 with 16:41 to play. The Redhawks (5-17, 2-7) went on top 71-70 with 5:35 remaining but Robinson helped put Austin Peay back in the lead for good with nine points in the final three minutes.

Isiah Jones scored 18 points for the Redhawks.
