COPENHAGEN, Denmark (AP) — A Danish prosecutor says a nurse has been charged with murdering three patients and attempting to kill a fourth at a hospital in southern Denmark.

Prosecutor Michael Boolsen says lethal doses of an undisclosed substance were found in two men and a woman who died in 2012 and 2015. A similar amount of the same substance was found in another victim who survived. All were patients over the age of 65.

He said Friday an investigation is still ongoing into the death of a fourth patient and a second alleged murder attempt.

The 31-year-old nurse cannot be named under a court order. Since her arrest on March 1, 2015, she has denied any wrongdoing.

The trial is set to start March 11.
