THE DENVER-CAROLINA BORDER — Like most sports fans, you were probably watching the NFL's championship weekend, which featured the AFC title game between the Denver Broncos and the New England Patriots and the NFC title game between the Carolina Panthers and Arizona Cardinals.
Yeah, we were, too.
Here are some of our favorite better off-the-field moments from both games.
Carolina fans falls onto field celebrating
There were a lot of excited Carolina fans during the Panthers' 49-15 rout of Arizona in the NFC Championship, but one in-stadium fan took the cake.
After Luke Kuechly scored for the Panthers, he went to high-five the fans seated in the front row near the end zone — and one of them got too close for comfort.
A fan falling out of the stands was about the only miscue the Panthers had on the evening, which saw them pick off Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer four times in the win.

Broncos supporters enamored by fan who looks like Tony Romo
No, the Dallas quarterback did not make the playoffs.
But the Internet decided a certain Broncos fan looks enough like Romo that he will have to do as a stand-in.

Naturally, Fake Romo and the rest of the Denver fans were pretty happy Sunday with a 20-18 win over the Patriots.
Cam's cleats
Love him or hate him, Cam Newton had a pretty cool tribute to his Panther teammates before the NFC Championship.
He wore each of their names on his warm-up cleats, which were decked out in Carolina blue.
