CARSON CITY, Nev. (AP) — An inmate who had been committed from Washoe County has died at the Northern Nevada Correctional Center in Carson City.
Nevada Department of Corrections says 58-year-old Gary Lewellin died Monday. He had been serving a sentence for burglary and robbery since April 2010. He was serving a 56- to 300-month sentence.
An autopsy has been scheduled to determine the cause of death.
