WICHITA, Kan. (AP) — Wichita State and New Mexico State will play Feb. 15 in the makeup of a game between NCAA Tournament teams from a year ago that had to be postponed by weather.
The Shockers and Aggies were scheduled to play Dec. 28 in Wichita, but a snowstorm prevented New Mexico State's flight from taking off. The Aggies were unable to book replacement flights.
Both teams will play in the middle of five-day gaps between games.
The Shockers, winners of seven straight, are 12-5 overall and 6-0 in the Missouri Valley. The Aggies are 11-8 overall and 3-1 in the Western Athletic Conference.
