LAS VEGAS (AP) — Police say a woman is dead after she was struck by an SUV in Las Vegas. KSNV-TV reports that police say the woman had been walking outside a crosswalk when the vehicle hit her last night. She has not yet been identified. Police say the mishap marks the seventh traffic-related death this year in Las Vegas.

LAS VEGAS (AP) — The highway patrol says a wrong-way driver caused a crash involving three vehicles on the Las Vegas Beltway. Troopers say the crash was early yesterday on the 215 Beltway near Warm Springs Road. A man was driving west in the eastbound lanes and hit a Jeep and a Toyota SUV. KTNV-TV reports that five people were taken to hospitals. Authorities have not said whether the driver will face any charges.

LAS VEGAS (AP) — Las Vegas police say a house party at a vacant home got out of control with one teenager getting shot. KSNV-TV reports that police were called late Saturday night to a house party where multiple shots had been fired. They say a teenage boy who was shot in the buttocks is hospitalized with a non-life-threatening injury.

BOSTON (AP) — Dominick Cruz regained the UFC bantamweight title last night, outpointing T.J. Dillashaw by split decision at the TD Garden in Boston. Forced to relinquish the title because of a series of knee injuries, Cruz fought for the first time since 2014 and the second time since 2011. Dillashaw was making his third title defense.
