WEST POINT, N.Y. (AP) — Larry Toomey scored 13 points and Army used a big second-half run to beat American 65-45 on Sunday.

Kyle Wilson made a 3-pointer to cap Army's 20-2 spurt for a 52-32 lead as American made just one field goal in eight-plus minutes.

It was the fewest points allowed by Army this season.

Wilson and Dylan Cox added 12 points apiece for Army (12-6, 3-3 Patriot). Wilson moved into seventh place on the league's all-time scoring list with 1,794 points.

Army, which entered the game ranked ninth nationally with an average of 10.4 3-pointers per game, was held to 6-of-18 shooting from beyond the arc.

Delante Jones scored 14 points for American (2-15, 0-6), which lost its 10th straight.

Army jumped out to a 20-8 lead in the first half but was held to just two points in the final 10 minutes as American rallied to tie it at 22-all by the break.
