NEW YORK (AP) — Majestic Affair led all the way Saturday to win the $125,000 Jazil Stakes at Aqueduct by 3 1/4 lengths.
It was the second straight win for the gelding. In his previous race, he was elevated into the victory on a rival's disqualification.
This time, there was no disputing the outcome. Majestic Affair was in command on the muddy track and rolled to his sixth win in 11 starts. The 4-year-old, ridden by Kendrick Carmouche was trained by Chad Brown, ran the mile and 70 yards in 1:42.08.
Majestic Affair paid $9.30, $4 and $3.50. Royal Posse was second and returned $3.60 and $3.20. Lucky Lotto showed at $7.50.
