GEORGETOWN, Guyana (AP) — Authorities in Guyana have charged three more people in connection with the killing of an 18-year-old British man.

The suspects include a man and two women. They appeared Friday night before a judge, who set their preliminary hearing for Jan. 21.

They are suspected of helping two other men bury the victim, Dominic Bernard, and his camera equipment. The other suspects are already facing murder charges.

Bernard went missing shortly after arriving in the South American nation last October.

His body was found last week in a shallow grave in a farming village in southeastern Guyana. Authorities say Bernard's skull was bashed in and suspect robbery as a motive.
