The Thornberry clan is on an African safari, and everything's shaping up the way it usually does: Debbie's annoyed, Nigel and Marianne are wrapped up in their work, Donnie's doing his whole wild boy thing, and Eliza's chatting with her chimpazee friend, Darwin. That's right chatting. See a long time ago, a shaman granted Eliza the ability to talk to animals in return for a good deed she'd done. It's an ability that's gotten her into more truly wild adventures than you can shake a tail feather at. This time, things take a turn for the worse when a poacher in a helicopter swoops out of the african sky and anstches one of the cheetah cubs Eliza and Darwin are traveling with.
