NORTH RIDGEVILLE, Ohio (AP) — Police in suburban Cleveland say a 9-year-old boy who was hit by a car while sledding has died.
The boy was trapped underneath the car Tuesday when his sled glided into a street at the bottom of a popular sledding hill.
Police in North Ridgeville say Drew Hayden died Friday at a Cleveland hospital.
A neighbor told a Cleveland TV station that the boy's family was at home cooking dinner when the accident happened.
Officers say it's unlikely that the driver will charged. But they say the investigation hasn't been completed.
