FLACHAU, Austria (AP) — Veronika Velez Zuzulova of Slovakia won her second straight World Cup night slalom on Friday with a blistering second run.

Trailing second after the first run, Velez Zuzulova pushed past first-run leader Nastasia Noens of France for back-to-back wins on the Hermann Maier course this week. She also won a floodlit slalom on Tuesday.

With snow falling throughout the second run, Noens made too many mistakes and finished fourth, failing to win her first race.

Slalom World Cup leader Frida Hansdotter of Sweden was second and Petra Vlhova of Slovakia finished third.

Velez Zuzulova finished in a combined time of one minute, 49.99 seconds, leaving Hansdotter .20 seconds behind. Vlhova was .53 seconds behind the winner.

Velez Zuzulova now has four World Cup career wins, all in slalom, and is the first skier to win more than one slalom race this season.

But Hansdotter remains in command in slalom standings with 505 points. Velez Zuzulova is second on 420, with Sarka Strachova of the Czech Republic third on 396. Strachova was fifth in Friday's race.

Overall World Cup leader, Lara Gut of Switzerland, and second-place Lindsey Vonn of the United States, sat out the race.

Gut is 38 points clear going into Sunday's giant slalom.

The two races replaced the events in Ofterschwang, Germany, that had to be called off for lack of snow.
