STREETSBORO, Ohio (AP) — Police say at least 10 students have been taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after a crash involving three school buses.

Darin Powers, police chief in Streetsboro, northeast of Akron, tells reporters that the crash happened just before 3 p.m. Wednesday.

Powers said the buses likely struck each other in the rear in a chain-reaction crash. One of the drivers also was hospitalized.

The road was shut down Wednesday afternoon while the crash was being investigated.
