ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (AP) — The Tampa Bay Rays have signed left-hander Dana Eveland and four other players to minor league contracts.

Eveland has spent parts of 10 major league seasons with nine teams, compiling a 20-27 record with a 5.27 ERA. He made 10 relief appearances for the Atlanta Braves last season, going 0-1 with a 5.40 ERA.

The Rays also announced the signings Tuesday of first baseman Kyle Roller and right-handed pitchers Eddie Gamboa, Jhan Mariñez and Tyler Sturdevant.

All five received invitations to major league spring training.
