LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) — The latest on controversial Kentucky clerk Kim Davis' invitation to the president's final State of the Union:

Congressman Jim Jordan of Ohio invited embattled Kentucky county clerk Kim Davis to the president's State of the Union address.
Jordan acknowledged giving Davis the ticket Tuesday, ending hours of speculation over who in Congress invited the divisive clerk.
Davis spent five days in jail last year for defying a series of federal court orders and refusing to issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples.
Jordan's office said the Family Research Council, a conservative lobbying organization, asked Jordan for a ticket on Davis' behalf.
Davis' lawyer, Mat Staver with the Liberty Counsel, announced early Tuesday that both he and Davis would be attending. He had declined to say who invited them.
