SAN ANTONIO, Texas — Brighton wide receiver Simi Fehoko caught two passes for 50 yards and a touchdown as the West squad beat the East, 37-9 Saturday in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl at the Alamodome in San Antonio.
The Stanford commit capped off the West's opening drive with a 35-yard touchdown grab from quarterback Shea Patterson, who has committed to Baylor.
Patterson completed 6-of-8 passes for 90 yards and two touchdowns as one of four West quarterbacks to see time in the all-star game. The quarterback from Bradenton, Florida was named the game's most valuable player.
Wasatch kicker Skyler Southam converted the game's lone field goal, a 28-yard attempt with no time on the clock in the second quarter to put the West team up 30-9. The BYU commit also converted 2-of-4 PATs, and averaged 59.8 yards on six kickoffs with one touchback.
