CHENEY, Wash. (AP) — Austin McBroom scored 26 points, sinking six from long range, and Eastern Washington coasted to a 74-60 win over Idaho on Saturday.
Felix Von Hofe added 19 points and Julian Harrell had 14 for Eastern Washington (7-8, 1-2 Big Sky), which hit 53 percent of its 47 shots from the field and 15 of 29 from 3-point range. McBroom was 8 of 14 from the floor while dishing out seven assists.
The Eagles, who never trailed, opened with a 15-4 run capped by a 3 from Harrell and took a 46-30 advantage into the break. Harrell's layup early in the second half gave Eastern Washington its biggest lead of the game, 54-30, and the Eagles cruised the rest of the way.
Victor Sanders led Idaho (10-6, 2-1) with 18 points. Perrion Callandret and Nate Sherwood added 12 each for the Vandals, who were held to 31 percent shooting.
