RENO, Nev. (AP) — Police say a Reno man has been arrested for the second time in a week for allegedly driving under the influence after he crashed a vehicle with two children inside into a 7-Eleven.
The Reno Gazette-Journal reports (http://on.rgj.com/1mLfp7o) that 44-year-old Andre Dawson is being held on bail at Washoe County jail for eight charges, including child abuse and driving with a suspended license.
According to police, officers found a vehicle had crashed through the convenience store around 10:40 p.m. Thursday.
There were no injuries.
Police say Dawson showed signs of being intoxicated and was arrested.
Two children, ages 9 and 10, were with him and released to a family member.
Dawson was previously arrested Jan. 2 for driving under the influence.
It's not known if he has an attorney.
