SYRACUSE, N.Y. (AP) — Dino Babers has added six assistant coaches to his new staff at Syracuse.

All six worked for Babers at Bowling Green before he was hired by Syracuse in December and have a combined 22 years of experience working with him: Tom Kaufman will be the Orange's special teams coordinator and linebackers coach; Sean Lewis joins the Orange as co-offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach; Mike Lynch will share offensive coordinator duties with Lewis and coach the offensive line; Kim McCloud will be the Orange's assistant head coach and also coach the receivers; Nick Monroe, a former assistant at Colgate, will coach the secondary; and Brian Ward will serve as defensive coordinator.

The Falcons won the 2015 Mid-American Conference Championship but lost to Georgia Southern in the GoDaddy Bowl.
