EAST LANSING, Mich. (AP) — Aerial Powers scored 22 points and grabbed 12 rebounds, Jasmine Hines added 15 points and No. 24 Michigan State turned back Wisconsin on Sunday.

Tori Jankoska added 13 points and seven assists and Branndais Agee had 11 points, five steals and four assists for the Spartans (10-3, 1-1 Big Ten), who were perfect on nine free throws in the fourth quarter.

The game turned in the second quarter when the Spartans closed the half with a 15-3 run for a 39-24 lead. Jankoska scored five-straight before Powers capped it with a 3-pointer. Michigan State hit 7 of 11 shots while the Badgers were just 3 of 13.

Wisconsin stayed with 8 to 12 points most of the second half but a 3-point play by Hines with 56 seconds to play and free throw shooting secured the win.

Dakota Whyte and Cayla McMorris had 14 points apiece for Wisconsin (5-7, 1-1).
