RENO, Nev. (AP) — Police have arrested a 15-year-old boy accused of shooting another teen in the head at a Reno park, leaving him in critical condition.
The suspect was being held at a juvenile detention center Wednesday. He faces charges of attempted homicide and robbery with a deadly weapon.
Police say the shooting happened Tuesday afternoon after the suspect robbed the victim in the park.
The 16-year-old was shot in the head as he was driving away. He was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.
A passenger who was in the vehicle at the time of the shooting was not injured.
