CHICAGO (AP) — Bulls guard Derrick Rose will not play against the Indiana Pacers because of right hamstring tendinitis.

Rose was scratched about an hour before Wednesday night's game, and coach Fred Hoiberg didn't mention any health issues with the oft-injured guard during his pregame media session.

Rose played in 27 of Chicago's first 29 games, averaging 14.4 points. He scored at least 19 points in each of his previous three appearances.
