OGDEN, Utah (AP) — Ogden police are searching for suspects in the stabbing of a man wanted by U.S. Marshals.

The Standard-Examiner in Ogden reports (http://bit.ly/1QSJbDj) that police have yet to identify suspects or a motive in the stabbing of 33-year-old Casey Jay Bitton.

According to investigators, Bitton was stabbed multiple times in the back of his head and neck on Wednesday afternoon.

A bystander saw Bitton bleeding and called 911.

Police Lt. Tim Scott says Bitton told officers two men attacked him.

Bitton was hospitalzed with non-life-threatening injuries.

Scott says Bitton was wanted on a warrant for a probation violation.

Marshals took him into custody.

He has since been booked into Weber County Jail.

It was not immediately known Saturday if Bitton had an attorney.
