ANKENY, Iowa (AP) — A spokeswoman says Ankeny school officials have investigated a report of hazing involving a dozen students at Centennial High School.
District spokeswoman Samantha Kampman says the report was received and investigated on Friday and says administrators found the report to be "credible." Kampman would not say what was reported or whether any student had been disciplined.
The Des Moines Register (http://dmreg.co/1O6bUlZ ) reports that Kampman says district policy gives a victim's parents ultimate authority over whether to involve the police in an incident.
