NEW YORK (AP) — Financial Modeling dominated the $100,000 Queens County Stakes, beating Tommy Macho by 4 1/2 lengths Saturday at Aqueduct.

Irad Ortiz, Jr. sent the 4-year-old colt to the lead in his stakes debut, and the outcome was never in doubt.

Trained by Chad Brown, Financial Modeling has won three of his last four races and looks like a potential handicap star for next season.

Financial Modeling paid $9.50, $3.70 and $2.50.

Tommy Macho, favored at 6-5 following his victory last month here in the Discovery Handicap, tracked along in second but could not gain on the leader. He returned $3 and $2.20.

Kid Cruz paid $2.30 to show.

The time was 1:49.60 for the 1 1/8 miles on the fast track.
