I know exactly how my colleague Mary Richards feels about getting email from people who read a story and then think the reporters email is the email to contact those in the story. Refer to her blog below if you don’t know what I’m talking about.
For example, my inbox was flooded with Miley Cyrus fans every time I did a story on this past stadium of fire. People were asking me when I would be releasing more tickets, and if I could get them a good deal. Sorry to say I didn’t buy any of the tickets nor would I be able to release any further tickets.
So I’m glad that has passed. As for Mary’s Deal or No Deal situation….I’m sure she’ll be getting email on that for years.
