WVU names Mississippi State dean to lead Eberly College

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (AP) — West Virginia University has named a Mississippi State University dean to lead the Eberly College of Arts and Sciences.

Provost Joyce McConnell announced Gregory Dunaway's appointment as dean of the Eberly College on Tuesday in a news release. His appointment is effective March 31, 2016.

Dunaway has served as dean of Mississippi State's College of Arts & Sciences since 2013. He previously served as associate dean for academic and student affairs from 2011 to 2012, and as department head of sociology from 2008 to 2011.
