WINTER SPRINGS, Fla. (AP) — A central Florida teen has been stabbed at his high school, and a classmate is arrested.
Winter Springs police Chief Kevin Brunelle says the female student was arrested Tuesday morning shortly after the incident at Winter Springs High School. He says the victim was apparently her boyfriend. He was taken to a hospital.
The Orlando Sentinel (http://bit.ly/1I6DDm2 ) reports that the school sent email and phone messages to parents, alerting them to what happened.
Seminole County School Board spokesman Mike Lawrence says classes resumed by 8:45 a.m.
Police are still investigating the incident. No further details were immediately available.
