NEW HAVEN, Conn. (AP) — Three teenagers have been arrested in connection with an attack last month on a 79-year-old Yale University professor and police are looking for two additional suspects.

Police tell the New Haven Register (http://bit.ly/1Q6SUWL ) that 18-year-old Kelton Gilbert Jr., of Hamden, 19-year-old Lawrence Minor Jr., of New Haven, and a 17-year-old New Haven boy whose name was not released because he's a juvenile face charges including first-degree assault.

The professor told police he was hit from behind and attacked by five people, one on a bike, and one he described as obese, after dark on Nov. 27.

The victim was punched, kicked and thrown to the ground and lost consciousness. His backpack and wallet were stolen. The wallet was later recovered.

It was not clear if the suspects had lawyers.
