PALM COAST, Fla. (AP) — A Florida school district is investigation a mother's claim that a teacher forced her 4-year-old son to clean a toilet with his bare hands.
In a statement released Monday, the Flagler County School District said the investigation began as soon as the director of the Early Childhood Education department learned of the allegations.
The child attends the voluntary pre-kindergarten program at Rymfire Elementary School.
The Daytona Beach News-Journal (http://bit.ly/1Qt43zk ) reports district officials met with the boy's mother Monday. The teacher has been moved to another classroom as the investigation continues.
The name of the teacher hasn't been released.
