Jul. 23--NORTH RICHLAND HILLS -- Want a shot at stardom?
Missoula Children's Theatre, a national touring group, is producing The Jungle Book in North Richland Hills. Auditions are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday at the Recreation Center, 6720 N.E. Loop 820
Among the roles that will be cast: Mowgli, the man-cub; Bagheera, the panther; Shere Khan, the tiger; and Akela, leader of the pack.
Throughout the week, actors will learn about dialogue, music and choreography.
Students in kindergarten through high school can audition and everyone will get a part. Registration is $69.
Showtime is 2 p.m. July 29.
