WHEATON, Ill. (AP) — A DuPage County judge has set bond at $3 million for a suburban Chicago man charged in a shooting that wounded one person inside a Wal-Mart store.
DuPage County prosecutors say 19-year-old Bradley Morris of Downers Grove appeared in bond court Monday morning. He will need to provide $300,000, or 10 percent, to be freed on bond in Illinois.
Morris is charged with attempted first-degree murder, aggravated battery with a firearm and aggravated unlawful use of a weapon. He is next due in court Jan. 4.
Morris is accused of opening fire Thursday evening after a fight at a Wal-Mart store in Darien. A man was shot in the shoulder and is expected to recover.
It wasn't immediately known if Morris has an attorney who can speak on his behalf.
