OSTERSUND, Sweden (AP) — Martin Fourcade of France dominated a men's sprint race Saturday for his first biathlon World Cup victory of the season, while Gabriela Soukalova of the Czech Republic won the women's race.

Fourcade missed two targets but used his strong skiing to finish the 10-kilometer race in 24 minutes, 2 seconds. Anrd Peiffer of Germany was 51.6 seconds back in second, with Norwegian great Ole Einar Bjoerndalen another 0.6 second back in third.

Soukalova shot clean to win the women's 7.5K race in 19:46.2, 15 seconds ahead of Federica Sanfilippo of Italy. Olena Pidhrushna of Ukraine was third, 38.4 seconds behind.
