I was wondering how many days we have had at 100+ degrees this year as well as the most recorded in a year? Thanks, Steve

Here's the deal, an average summer in SLC as measured at the airport, features only 5 days at 100 degrees or greater. So far this summer including today, Sunday July 23rd, we have had 8 of those days.
The most 100 degrees ever in one summer most recently was 21 days at or above 100 in the summer of 1994. 21 days of 100 degree or greater heat has also occurred in earlier years.
