HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. (AP) — Janee Thompson scored 11 of her 21 points in the second half and No. 11 Kentucky rallied from a four-point halftime deficit to remain unbeaten, winning on the road at Northern Kentucky 84-65 on Wednesday night.
The Norse (5-2) made 8 of 15 3-point attempts in the first half in taking a 41-37 lead at the break.
The Wildcats scored the first 13 points of the second half to grab the lead for good.
Makayla Epps added 16 points and Evelyn Akhator 13 for the Wildcats, who shot 62.1 percent in the second half.
Sarah Kinch led the Norse with 16 points and Rianna Gayheart 14 as they combined to make 7 of 8 3-pointers. However, the Norse were only 3 of 12 from the arc in the second half.
Kentucky is 7-0 for the first time since the 2013-14 season when it advanced to the Elite Eight.
