SPARTANBURG, S.C. (AP) — Quinton Marshall had a career-high 26 points and The Citadel beat Bob Jones 121-81 in the second night of the Palmetto State Shootout on Friday night.
The Bulldogs (4-2) led by three shortly after at halftime and pulled away to a 71-55 lead with a 15-2 run early in the second half. Bob Jones got no closer than 14 the rest of the way. The Bruins are a member of the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA).
Brian White added 17 points and P.J. Boutte scored 16 with each getting five steals for the Bulldogs, who had 22 as a team. Connor Schroeder scored 14 points in six minutes, Derrick Henry had 12 points and Warren Sledge 10.
Dustin Killough scored 25 points to lead the Bruins, who had 34 turnovers. Tre Tipton added 14 points and Noah Smith 11.
