LAS VEGAS (AP) — Aurimas Majauskas scored 20 points and Sam Houston beat Bethune-Cookman 71-46 on Friday in the Las Vegas Classic.

Majauskas was 7 of 10 from the field with seven rebounds and four assists. Torry Butler had 16 points on 7-of-11 shooting with eight rebounds, and Jovante' Spivey added 12 points with four assists for Sam Houston (2-3).

Jordan Potts scored 13 points on 4-of-14 shooting to lead Bethune-Cookman (2-4). LaRon Smith chipped in seven points with six blocks for the Wildcats.

Spivey made back-to-back 3-pointers and Dakarai Henderson made another to give Sam Houston a 28-24 lead, and the Bearkats stretched it to a 32-26 halftime lead.

Albert Almanza and Josh Delaney made consecutive 3-pointers and Sam Houston had a 56-43 lead midway through the second half and cruised from there.
