HARRISONBURG, Va. (AP) — Dimitrije Cabarkapa scored a career-high 27 points on 10-of-12 shooting and James Madison beat crosstown foe Eastern Mennonite 106-74 on Tuesday night.

Cabarkapa made three of James Madison's 15 3-pointers in its first 100-point game since Dec. 22, 2007.

Shakir Brown made four 3-pointers for 12 points and Ivan Lukic tied a career-best with 10 points for James Madison (3-3). Twelve different players scored for the Dukes, who made 38 of 58 shots (66 percent), including 15 of 24 from 3-point range.

Cabarkapa scored 10 straight James Madison points in the first half for a 26-14 lead and the Dukes closed on a 16-5 run for a 53-29 lead at halftime.

Isaiah Harris-Winn led Eastern Mennonite with 17 points and Jerome Jones had 12 points and seven rebounds.

It was the first meeting between Eastern Mennonite and James Madison since the 1974-75 season.
