DALLAS (AP) — A high school teacher has suffered minor injuries after being assaulted by a student in Dallas.
The Dallas Morning News reports (http://bit.ly/1I0HPDp ) that the incident happened Thursday at Skyline High School. The identities of the teacher and student involved in the incident haven't been released.
The district said in a news release that "violence is not tolerated" at school "and the student will face consequences in accordance" with the code of conduct.
The district declined the newspaper's attempt for further comment, citing privacy laws related to student discipline and employee matters.
Students tweeted about the incident Thursday afternoon.
